Integrated performance ports and reduced unnecessary writer tracking; added explicit GPU-to-host visibility before buffer readback and submitted native desktop GPU work earlier while preserving conservative synchronization for macro reads and semaphore waits.
build-83 → build-88
Build change
Added bounded background preparation of cached graphics pipelines and persistent task/mesh shader state. Updated the Vulkan cache to v53 while preserving compatible v52 caches, and made interrupted cache migrations retryable.
build-83 → build-88
Build change
Fixed temporal history, motion interpolation, image transitions, and descriptor retirement for FSR3 frame generation; frame generation remains off by default.

Lichii nx2 build 88 (55532f2)
November 6, 2026
Summary
Build-88 adds performance and synchronization changes, shader and pipeline caching improvements, FSR3 frame-generation fixes, and an enabled-by-default Dynamic FPS mod for Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It also documents a shutdown race that remains unfixed.

Integrated performance ports and reduced unnecessary writer tracking; added explicit GPU-to-host visibility before buffer readback and submitted native desktop GPU work earlier while preserving conservative synchronization for macro reads and semaphore waits.
Added bounded background preparation of cached graphics pipelines and persistent task/mesh shader state. Updated the Vulkan cache to v53 while preserving compatible v52 caches, and made interrupted cache migrations retryable.
Fixed temporal history, motion interpolation, image transitions, and descriptor retirement for FSR3 frame generation; frame generation remains off by default.
build-83 includes Ocarina of Time graphics and rendering fixes, performance and stability improvements, and updated setup guidance for Linux, Windows, and macOS.
Changes (up to 5)
Ocarina of Time: Fixed missing vegetation, incorrect materials and lighting, a glowing doorway, one-frame white flashes, and an AMD black 3D scene. Added Max Resolution (built-in), enabled by default for the supported game build, and Ocarina-specific frame-ahead presentation tuning.
Build notes (up to 3)
Linux packages include standard and PGO builds for x86_64 and aarch64. The PGO builds are recommended; they use profile-guided optimization.
The Linux AppImage is self-contained and requires glibc 2.39 or newer. The Linux tar.gz uses system libraries, including Qt 6 and the usual libraries.
The Windows standard MSVC zip is suggested if graphical issues occur on other builds. The PGO zip is built with MinGW clang, bundles its own DLLs, and does not require the Visual C++ redistributable.

Bundled Dark's Dynamic FPS mod, enabled by default for Ocarina of Time. Disable it independently in the game's Add-Ons settings. Max Resolution remains a separate Add-On. CPU Clock Normal is recommended when evaluating the mod; Boost/Overclock can affect game speed. Full gameplay timing has not been verified.

Do I need to install every build in between?
The download history lets you choose a specific release directly. Read its package notes for any version-specific installation steps.
What should I keep before trying an update?
Keep the installer or archive for your working build, and back up saves and configuration. That gives you a practical route back if your game regresses.
Where can I check the source commit?
Follow a build's official GitHub release link to inspect its tag and associated source commit.
