Lichii nx2 build 116 (92f0212)
November 7, 2026
Résumé
build-116 recommends the PGO build as the most stable option, with the standard build available if PGO does not work. It highlights improved Zelda: Ocarina of Time stability and graphics, full Mario Tennis Fever operation, and several performance, stability, and setup changes.
GPUs without mesh shaders can draw mesh-shader scenes through compute, including GPUs such as NVIDIA GTX 10-series (Pascal), AMD RX 5000 (RDNA1), and MoltenVK.
Notes de compilation (3 au maximum)
PGO is recommended as the most stable build for this release; use the standard build if PGO does not work. PGO builds use profile-guided optimization. Linux uses clang with Eglantine's profile; Windows uses clang-cl and ThinLTO with a profile trained in Lichii on Ocarina of Time, so other games gain less. Prefer PGO when the CPU supports it.
Linux packages are available for x86_64 and aarch64 as AppImage and tar.gz; Windows packages are available for x86_64 as standard and PGO zip files; macOS has a standard arm64 package. The macOS package requires macOS 15 or newer and is not notarized.
Linux AppImages require glibc 2.39 or newer. The Linux tar.gz uses system libraries, so Qt 6 and the usual libraries must be installed.
This release is identified in its About screen and logs as build-95, though its release tag and download links use build-94; the source says these refer to the same build. It includes Ocarina of Time graphics fixes, stability and performance changes, and installation packages for Linux, Windows, and Apple Silicon macOS.
Changements (5 au maximum)
Ocarina of Time: Fixes near foliage disappearing, white flashes during camera movement, terrain drawn over the scene, a stale Z-target reticle, and several shader issues. The changes had only limited gameplay testing.
Fixes a race-related random crash involving an unallocated SparseLargeVector region, which the release says can affect any game.
Adds LayeredFS mod support for NUP titles.
The migration prompt's Keep Old Data option now keeps data instead of moving it.
Adds an experimental option to pin GPU threads to their own cores. It is off by default and requires 6 or more physical performance cores.
Notes de compilation (3 au maximum)
The release tag and download links say build-94, but the About screen and logs identify the same build as build-95; the source says there is no separate build 94 release.
Only standard builds are included; PGO builds are not included.
AMD Radeon RX 6000 series and older on Windows crash while building shaders after boot. The release says this is fixed in build 117; RX 7000/9000 and NVIDIA are not affected.
Official release binaries reportedly show the UI in English even when a non-English language is selected, and LoadTranslation() resets the language preference to "en" on startup when loading from the empty :/languages/ resource fails. Static text maps also remain English even with a translator installed, and the DLSS panel strings are reportedly not extracted into translation catalogs.
