Ocarina of Time
On macOS/MoltenVK with an Apple M1, the Switch 2 NSO version boots and plays audio but presents a black image from startup, with approximately 1 FPS and occasional red/green block artifacts.

| build-93 | runs with issues | Radeon 5700 XT / AMD Ryzen 6 3600 | Not provided | Open report |
Problems or notes: User reports the emulator hangs and crashes at 11/14 shaders loaded when booting Ocarina Of Time Remake. They say the issue also occurs in Build-88, while Build-83 works; results are the same handheld or docked and on x11 or wayland. The report also identifies the graphics card as AMD RX 6000 series or older.
Current: build-93 (1 record); previous: build-88 (0 records).

Problems or notes: User reported an extremely bright sky obscuring visibility in open areas such as Hyrule Field. A comment attributed the white haze to light-volume probe data being read further into memory than was bound, and mentioned a separate NaN-safe min/max change that could spread bloom on AMD. The comment said these changes were not yet in a published release.
Problems or notes: User reports that preloaded pipelines were evicted after 9000 frames, leading to runtime pipeline rebuilds and stutter when moving into a new area.
Current: build-93 (1 record); previous: build-88 (0 records).

Problems or notes: The user reports delayed AV1 cinematics and audio playing faster. Normal gameplay is reported at about 15–22 FPS.

Problems or notes: Severe bright pink, cyan, and white lines appear along mountain silhouettes, especially where mountains meet the sky, in Kakariko Village. Shader compilation continues during gameplay, especially when moving or rotating the camera.

Problems or notes: In the Bombchu Bowling Alley, stones along the wall and ovens flash pink, yellow, red, or black by day; the sign shows garbage, noise, and fragments of another image. The graphics look correct at night after leaving and returning. The issue remains in official build-117. The Royal Family's Tomb red line is separately reported fixed by #722.
Problems or notes: The issue author reports major stuttering and shader building around Hyrule Castle town, making play unworkable. They say visuals looked good and FPS seemed more stable in previous builds. In comments, users report shader loading/building stutter and repeated shader rebuilding when revisiting areas. One commenter says enabling “switch 2 draws with unbuilt pipelines to skip” fixed the stutter but caused graphical and lighting issues. Another says deleting the shader cache and letting it rebuild helped, but performance remained slower than build 93. A commenter reports build 93 had better FPS but worse visuals than build 117.
Problems or notes: The emulator closes when loading Hyrule Market after the user exits Kokiri Forest and enters Hyrule Castle.
Problems or notes: About 31 FPS on average, down to about 19 FPS in crowded scenes, with short freezes when attacking.
Problems or notes: The user reports textures not working properly, slow frame rate, and a shield glitch. They also report that trying a '.dat' file did not work. The issue body gives conflicting GPU details.
Current: build-117 (2 records); previous: build-116 (0 records).

Known issues from Lichii sources
On macOS/MoltenVK with an Apple M1, the Switch 2 NSO version boots and plays audio but presents a black image from startup, with approximately 1 FPS and occasional red/green block artifacts.
On AMD GPUs, Ocarina of Time's compute shaders can fail compilation with VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_HOST_MEMORY or cause the AMD driver to crash. The issue report describes missing intro video and an eventual process crash; a later user reports an access violation inside amdvlk64.dll.
OpenGL is reported not to work for this game because GLSL task and mesh programs are not implemented, resulting in repeated errors and an emulator hang.
Rejecting shader hashes before translation skips their dispatches and can result in missing output or a black screen; a user reports the environment switch did not affect the tested Vulkan compute-pipeline path.
Recorded fix: For testing shader rejection, keep the disk shader cache off or delete it before each run; the maintainer says cached shaders are loaded without checking the rejection list.
Performance slows in crowded or busy areas, with front/back GPU-thread synchronization drains and waits; short freezes while attacking are also reported.
Shader compilation can cause freezes of about 3 seconds with each step, according to a user report.
On integrated AMD graphics, device-memory thresholds can keep the texture cache collector in aggressive mode even though deleting all images cannot reduce total usage below the threshold. This causes extensive image churn and GPU waits during gameplay.
On Build 95 Non-PGO in Linux AMD RADV, the game remains black-screened while intro audio plays, even after shader compilation. The symptom persisted across the reported Wayland/XWayland and environment-variable tests, and after removing Vulkan Pipeline Cache and Cache Storage.
Build 117 renders again, but the user reports substantial FPS and frametime variability, including drops to 19 FPS.
Severe performance, around 8 FPS (approximately 123 ms frame time), on macOS with Apple M5 using Vulkan / MoltenVK at 1x resolution; the report also says MoltenVK fallback warnings occur. A commenter reports the same issue on Mac M4.
