Problems or notes: In the Bombchu Bowling Alley in Castle Town Market, stones intermittently flash bright pink, red, yellow, cyan, or black; small stones on the way to Hyrule Castle also reportedly glow red. The user’s RenderDoc investigation found the final compose dispatch overwrote correctly drawn stones with garbage when its weight inputs were zero.
Problems or notes: The user reports bright light/haze-like artifacts, FPS around 20 with large variance, and desynced, stuttering audio during gameplay. Reproduction steps specify Lichii build 93 (MSVC Windows package), while the report lists build 97 as the emulator build.
Problems or notes: A massive white bloom streak blows out the upper-left quadrant of the screen in Kakariko Village during daytime; a commenter reports similar effects in the well, later areas, and frozen Zora's domain.
Current: build-93 (4 records); previous: build-88 (0 records).

Problems or notes: User reports that sound and the Zelda logo work, but the game displays a black screen. Comments also report black screens on AMD and NVIDIA GPUs and on Linux.
Problems or notes: Commenters report that shared settings resolved the black screen on the MSVC build, but serious FPS, ambient occlusion, and lighting issues remain.
Problems or notes: A commenter reports that the title screen displays at 60 FPS but the screen goes black after selecting New Game and remains black through the intro cutscene. The log reports that FFmpeg has no decoder for video/av1.
Current: build-75 (2 records); previous: build-70 (0 records).

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lichii nx2-build-83 | not booting | AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT (RDNA2) / Intel Core i5-10400F | Not provided | Open report |
| nx2-build-83 | runs with issues | Radeon RX 6800 / Not provided | 43–47 FPS | Open report |
Problems or notes: User reports the render area remains black after booting, in both handheld and docked modes. Updating the AMD driver, clearing the shader cache, changing listed settings, and trying other builds did not change the result.
Problems or notes: User reports the game renders correctly in a screen capture at about 47 fps, but the displayed image is solid green. The report states about 43 fps during presentation.

| build-88 | runs with issues | AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT / AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Not provided | Open report |

Problems or notes: The logo, text, and UI are visible, but the 3D environment and background remain black; audio continues. AMD driver timeouts or crashes sometimes occur. The issue persists after updating and rolling back the driver and restarting. The issue author says graphics displayed previously, but the issue appeared afterward.
Problems or notes: Audio plays a different part of the game than the image during the intro; the audio is clean but out of sync by a scene. A follow-up report says the game uses StreamType::Render and that traced sink appends were complete with no samples dropped. Another user reports the same issue with a 7800X3D, RTX 5070, and 32gb DDR5.
From build-83 to build-88: follow the gameplay changes described for these two builds.
After: Dynamic FPS mod enabled by default; Max Resolution remains a separate Add-On.

Known issues from Lichii sources
Black screen after the intro on AMD RX 9070 XT; the game's 1080p upscaler shader is rejected.
Recorded fix: Comment reports that #112 fixes the shader rejection; its CI build is fix/oot-upscaler-gathers / 7459f10 (build-80), and the fix is on nx2, but not in a release yet.
On AMD, the world is black except around Navi and Link; an RX 6800 XT reporter says the workaround still leaves all 3D geometry black.
Recorded fix: Comment reports that #127 fixes AMD-only demote reordering. Before it is merged, setting EDEN_NX2_REJECT_HASH=e40561a7a0f7a0b3 in %APPDATA%\eden\nx2_switches.txt makes the world visible on the RX 9070 XT report; another reporter says it does not resolve 3D rendering on the RX 6800 XT.
Texture flicker with Low GPU accuracy and GPU thread split on AMD RX 9070 XT.
Handheld mode is reported as much brighter and blurrier than Docked mode.
A local ClangCL build of b8c812b18 stalled at max present 8 and showed no frames; a local MSVC build of the same commit stalled at max present 8 and died within a minute, unlike the reported build-75 release.
In gameplay, the world renders almost entirely black, with only the HUD and some areas near light sources visible; some shapes appear blown out with heavy bloom.
Black screen after starting a new game, with audio continuing; a commenter also reports an FFmpeg error stating there is no decoder for video/av1.
Recorded fix: A commenter reports that using the MSVC build instead of the PGO build worked for them. Other commenters report that shared settings resolved the black screen, and one reports that switching from handheld to docked mode resolved it.
Very low FPS and graphics problems, including missing textures, lighting or ambient occlusion issues, and a blown-out white image.
The emulator closes about a minute after gameplay begins on Windows 11 with an NVIDIA RTX 50 series GPU.
User reports a black screen after the game's AV1 video streams fail to decode; FFmpeg reports no decoder for "video/av1". The game idles indefinitely on a black frame.
